A variety of methods are used to communicate between school and home: 

• Class Dojo - http://classdojo.com/ 

This application is used to send whole school, whole class, or individual messages to parents. Parents can reply directly to the sender.  Please look out for an email invitation that will enable you to access your child’s account and activate as early as possible.  This application is used to provide home learning in the event of lockdown/school closure.  Pupils’ work can be uploaded via the app and commented on by teaching staff.  For speakers of languages other than English it is possible to utilise a translate feature.  Once an account has been set up, please log into classdojo.com, click on your name in the top right and adjust the language preference option in settings.  When messages are sent – either between individuals or whole school story messages – there is an option underneath to translate the message. 

• ParentPay - http://parentpay.com/ 

As we are a cashless and largely paperless school, ParentPay is used to pay for: School Dinners, Trips, Clubs, Charity Donations and also as a tool for relaying information to parents/carers.  Letters are often sent via email as .pdf attachments enabling fast communication with parents.  Recent communications will appear in the History section of your child’s ParentPay account. Please see the School Website for further guidance.  Details of your child’s account, enabling you to sign up, will be provided separately, please activate as early as possible.  Once signed up, you are advised to click on the speech bubbles icon in the centre/top of the homepage and edit the “Alert Settings”, enabling a “New Item Alert” by email.  Currently we have a 100% sign up to this service across the school.
