Our school is open from Monday to Friday in term time from 8.30am to 3pm, equating to 32.5 hours per week.
Our gates open at 8.30am and close at 8.45am.
In most classes, learning starts at 8.30am and it is important that children do not miss this. Teaching starts at 8.45am which is the end of registration, and it is helpful if the doors are closed and all children are in class and ready to learn by 8.45am.
The school day finishes at 3.00pm.

Drop off and Collection
There are a few ways of accessing the school but ideally, please enter the school via the pedestrian entrance leading to the nursery building on Plealey Lane, and then through the gate on the right onto the school playground. Please drop off children outside their classroom and leave children at the door. We have found the children benefit from this independent start to the school day. Parents and carers are permitted to park in the village hall car park and walk down to school to ease congestion around the roads around school.
Please collect children from their classroom doors.
Use of the School Driveway and Parking
Please help us to reduce the risk to pedestrians by only driving into the school driveway if you have prior authorisation, and by not reversing into the school driveway entrance or the driveways of neighbouring properties to turn around.
