Opportunities at Longden CE Primary School and Nursery
Longden CE Primary School and Nursery is a vibrant, busy and popular school full of delightful children and happy adults. We are looking to add to our dynamic, friendly and committed team in the following roles:
Administration Assistant: Permanent, 30 hrs per week, term time only (43.6 weeks). Grade 5 SCP6-7 £25,989 to £26,403 pro rata (dependent on experience and qualifications). 8.30am-2.30pm Monday to Friday. Required from January 2026. See Job Description, Person Specification and Advert below.
Breakfast Club: 5 hours per week, 7:30–8:30am, Monday to Friday. Fixed Term Contract to July 2026 in the first instance, term time only, 43.6 weeks per year. Level 1: Grade 4, pt5 £13.26 per hour or Level 2: Grade 5, pt 6-7 £13.47-13.69 per hour depending on experience
Kitchen Assistant/Lunchtime Supervisor: 10 hours per week, 11:45am–1:45pm, Monday to Friday, permanent, term time only, 43.6 weeks per year plus 3 cleaning days. Level 1: Grade 2, pt3 £12.85 per hour
After School Club: 9 hours per week, 3:00–6:00pm, Wednesday to Friday, permanent, term time only, 43.6 weeks per year. Level 1: Grade 4, pt5 £13.26 per hour or Level 2: Grade 5, pt 6-7 £13.47-13.69 per hour depending on experience
These three roles can be taken on as one position collectively, or as separate roles.
What we’re looking for:
- Friendly, flexible and dependable individuals
- Experience of working with children
- Childcare qualifications are preferred, but not essential
