The School Day - Times
Our school is open from Monday to Friday in term time from 8.30am to 3pm, equating to 32.5 hours per week.
Our gates open in the morning at 8.15am and are locked at 8.30am.
Learning starts promptly, and so we ask children to be in class for 8.20am. It is important that children do not miss this start to the day as it gives them the time and opportunity to ensure they are settled and have all they need ready to start the day.
Registration ends at 8.30am when teaching starts, and all children should be in class ready to learn. We close classroom external doors and anyone arriving after 8.30am is asked to come to the main school entrance please.
Our school day finishes at 3.00pm.

Drop off and Collection
There are a few ways of accessing the school but we ask families to please enter the school via the pedestrian entrance leading to the nursery building on Plealey Lane, and onto the school playground or via the path to school from The Tankerville pub. Please see your child through the classroom door so you know they are safely inside. You don't need to come in with them, we encourage and independent start to the school day but please do talk to staff if alternative arrangements might be needed.
Parents and carers can park in the village hall car park and walk down to school to ease congestion around the roads around school.
Please collect children from their classroom doors.
Use of the School Driveway and Parking
Please help us to reduce the risk to pedestrians by only driving into the school driveway if you have prior authorisation, and by not reversing to turn into the school driveway entrance or the driveways of neighbouring properties.
