Longden CE Primary School and Nursery is a vibrant, busy and popular school full of delightful children and happy adults.
We are looking to add to our dynamic, friendly and committed team in the following role:
1-2-1 L3 SEN Teaching Assistant: 32.5 hours per week, 8.30am-3.00pm, Monday to Friday, term time only (43.6 weeks). Fixed Term Contract (FTC) until July 2026.
Level 3, Grade 6 (SCP 8-11) £12.80-£13.47p/h depending on experience, £24,702-£25,979 FTE.
Working under the guidance of teaching staff and nominated teaching assistants and within an agreed system of supervision, to support access to learning for pupils and to assist the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom, including support for an upper KS2 pupil with an individual Education Health Care Plan (EHCP). This will include requiring detailed and specialist knowledge in particular areas, to support this child to overcome barriers to learning.
